This Wheelchair Life

Micah Harris

This wheelchair life is not a game

Ever since I got paralyzed, my life hasn't been the same

But I will never be ashamed to let the whole world know my struggles and pain

Life is an adventure, I am an inventor

In the midst of chaos, I am calm in my center

Coldest than the throes of the winter, yet so warm, I could stove up November

You know who I am bruh, betchu didn’t know I’m a world class orator, wheelchair warrior

Everything I move through those hospital corridors

All I get is love from the locals and the foreigners

Cuz they see my spirit, betta yet they feel it

And I may be injured, but my insides iz healing

And I stay positive while I’m free-wheelin’

This world can’t break me

God won’t forsake me

As long as I’m in his arms, that's what they called safety

If you knew my struggles you’d be crazy to hate me

Or underestimate me

I am what God made me
